Da Ming Prefecture Circuit

Da Ming Prefecture Circuit was Song's Northern Capital and the Wei commandery. It had one prefecture, three cishi commanderies, twenty counties, and twenty-two towns. In the tenth month of Zhenyou 2 a traveling Secretariat was set up.

Da Ming Prefecture, upper grade, Tianxiong Army. It had been a detached prefecture with its own military command until Tiande 2, when that office was abolished and its households were reassigned to nearby zongguan prefectures. Zhenglong 2 raised it to a zongguan prefecture governing twelve nearby meng'an and canal transport. Local products included crepe, grain, silk, pear flesh, cherries, fried wood ear, and saltpeter. Households: 308,511. Ten counties and thirteen towns, including the former Liulin and Hougu towns.

Yuancheng had Qie Mountain, the canal Yu River, and Tunshi River. Two towns: Anding and Anxian.

Daming, attached to the seat. One town.

Hedong North Circuit. Song's Hedong Circuit; Tianhui 6 split Hedong into south and north routes, each with a commander-in-chief of troops and horses. One prefecture, three jiedushi posts, nine cishi commanderies, thirty-nine counties, forty towns, ten forts, and eight stockades.

Taiyuan Prefecture, upper grade, Wuyong Army. Song Taiyuan commandery, Hedong Army jiedushi; at the founding it stayed a secondary prefecture, then Bingzhou Taiyuan commandery Hedong Army zongguan prefecture with a transport office. It had an ink factory, a silver-refining cave, and agate. Medicinals included pine resin, white glue-aromatic, and five-spirit fat. It also produced rhubarb and white jade stone. Households: 165,862. Eleven counties and eight towns:

Yangqu, attached to the seat. It had Han Mountain, Meng Mountain, and Fen River. Five towns: Yangqu, Baijing, Chitang Pass, Tianmen Pass, and Lingjing Post.

Tianhui 6 raised it to a zongguan prefecture. A transport office was established. The twelfth month of Xingding 2 demoted it to a detached prefecture after devastation. It held book collections. Products included refined salt, Lüzhou green dye, scroll cloth, Longmen pepper, purple-tuan ginseng, licorice, and atractylodes. Households: 136,936. Ten counties and one town:

Jingzhao Prefecture, upper grade. Under the Song it was Jingzhao commandery’s Yongxing Army jiedushi. Huangtong 2 established a chief administrator’s office; Tiande 2 added the Shaanxi West Circuit commandery army office and Shaanxi East Circuit transport office. Local products included angelica, ephedra, white tribulus, fennel, and asarum. Households: 98,177. Twelve counties and ten towns; Zhongqiao and Linjing towns existed formerly but were later abolished.
