十八年春正月，還次南京，賞有功將士，罰不用命者。 詔諸軍各還本道，二月，幸延芳澱。 夏四月己未，駐蹕於清泉澱。 五月丁酉，清暑炭山。 六月，阻卜叛酋鶻碾之弟鐵剌不率部眾來附，鶻碾無所歸，遂降，詔誅之。 秋七月，駐蹕於湯泉。 九月乙亥朔，駐蹕黑河。 冬十一月甲戌朔，授西平王李繼遷子德昭朔方軍節度使。 十二月，回鶻來貢。 是年，放進士南承保等三人及第。
In the eighteenth year of Tonghe, in the first spring month the court returned to Nanjing, rewarded officers and soldiers who had distinguished themselves, and punished those who had disobeyed orders. An edict ordered all armies to return to their home circuits, and in the second month the court went to Yanfang Marsh. On jiwei day of the fourth summer month the court encamped at Qingquan Marsh. On dingyou day of the fifth month the court took the summer retreat at Coal Mountain. In the sixth month Zubu rebel chieftain Guinian's brother Tielabu submitted with his followers; with nowhere to go Guinian surrendered, and an edict ordered his execution. In the seventh autumn month the court encamped at Tangquan. On the yihai new moon of the ninth month the court encamped at Heihe. On the jiaxu new moon of the eleventh winter month Li Jiqian's son Dezhao was appointed military commissioner of the Shuofang Army. In the twelfth month the Uyghur came with tribute. That year Nan Baoshou and two others passed the examinations.

In the nineteenth year of Tonghe, on xinsi day of the first spring month, zhihou langjun xiangwen Guanyin was appointed king of the Six Xi Divisions. On jiashen day the Uyghur presented Buddhist monks and renowned physicians. On yihai day of the third month Western Xia sent Li Wengui with tribute. On yiyou day the Southwestern Pacification Commission reported a victory over the Tangut. On renchen day Empress Xiao was demoted to noble consort on account of misconduct. Grand Chancellor Han Derang was granted the name Dechang. On yisi day of the fourth summer month the Emperor visited Prince of Wu Longyou's residence to inquire after his illness. On bingwu day the Emperor inquired after the Empress Dowager's health. On guiyou day of the fifth month the court took the summer retreat at Coal Mountain. On bingxu day Xiao was invested as Empress Qitian. On gengyin day qianzhuaila xiangwen Yelü Wangnu was appointed Prince of Yishi. On xinmao day the court sacrificed a green ox and white horse to heaven and earth. On yisi day of the sixth month captured Song general Kang Zhaoyi was appointed military commissioner of the Zhaoshun Army. On wuwu day Western Xia reported the capture of Song's Heng, Huan, Qing, and other prefectures, and an edict was issued to commend them. On bingxu day in the seventh autumn month Eastern Capital army commander Yelü Nugua was appointed Southern Chancellery chancellor. On gengxu day of the eighth month the Dalugu tribe came with tribute. On the jisi new moon of the ninth month the Emperor inquired after the Empress Dowager's health. On wuzi day the court encamped at Changping. On gengyin day the Southwestern Pacification Commission reported a victory over the Tuyuhun. On xinmao day the court visited Nanjing. On jihai day of the tenth winter month a southern campaign was launched. On renyin day the army halted at Yanyan Pass. Prince of Wu Longyou was re-enfeoffed as Prince of Chu and left to guard the capital. On dingwei day Prince of Liang Longqing led the vanguard army forward. On xinhai day ghost arrows were shot. On renzi day the court sacrificed a green ox and white horse to heaven and earth. On jiayin day Liao forces defeated Song troops at Suicheng. On gengshen day the court sacrificed black and white sheep to heaven and earth. On bingyin day the army halted at Mancheng and, bogged down in mud, withdrew. On gengwu day of the eleventh month ghost arrows were shot. On bingzi day Song troops attacked through Yukou and Yijin Pass; scouts Mouwa and gamekeeper Zhao Gu drove them back. On jimao day the court watched fishing at Rumen Marsh. On jiyou day of the intercalary month the Bigud came with tribute. On jiwei day frontier market taxes were reduced. On gengchen day of the twelfth month rent and taxes at Nanjing and Ping Prefecture were remitted.

In the twentieth year of Tonghe, on gengzi day of the first spring month the Emperor went to Yanfang Marsh. On guichou day a five-colored rainbow appeared in the east. An edict ordered the pacification of the submitted tribes of the southwest. On jiayin day Western Xia sent envoys presenting horses and camels. On xinyou day Jurchen chancellor Yilidi came with tribute. In the second month, on dingchou day, a Jurchen chieftain sent his son to court. Goryeo sent envoys congratulating the court on victory over Song. On jiayin day of the third month Northern Chancellery chancellor Xiao Jiyuan and others were sent on a southern campaign. On renxu day the court encamped at Yuanyang Marsh. On the bingyin new moon of the fourth summer month Civil Class grand guardian Dalidi defeated Song troops at Liangmen. On jiaxu day Nanjing army commander Xiao Talin routed Song forces at Taizhou. On yiyou day the officers of the southern campaign presented captives. Titles and rewards were granted according to rank. On wuzi day the Iron Li sent envoys with tribute. On yimao day of the fifth month the court went to Coal Mountain for the summer retreat. In the sixth month Western Xia sent Liu Renxu to report the capture of Ling Prefecture. On the jiawu new moon of the seventh autumn month there was a solar eclipse. On dingyou day Xing Baopu was appointed southern privy commissioner. On xinchou day Goryeo sent envoys presenting a geographical map of their realm. On the guisi new moon of the ninth month the Emperor visited the Xian Mausoleum and reported the southern victory. On the guihai new moon of the tenth winter month the court returned from the Xian Mausoleum. In the twelfth month the Xi princely establishment's five households and six divisions offered land along the Qijin Mountains and the Tuh River; gold and coins were granted in return. That year wheat with double ears appeared at Nanjing and Ping Prefecture. Xing Xiang and five others passed the examinations.

In the twenty-first year of Tonghe, in the first spring month the Emperor went to Yuanyang Marsh. On renchen day of the third month an edict forbade calendar officials from recording trivial events. On jiawu day the Emperor attended upon the Empress Dowager. On wuwu day the Iron Li came with tribute. On yichou day of the fourth summer month the Jurchen sent envoys with tribute. On wuchen day Wuran, Bohai, Aolimi, Yuelidu, Yueliji, and other tribes sent envoys with tribute. That month Yelü Nugua and Xiao Talin captured Song general Wang Jizhong at Wangdu. On the gengyin new moon of the fifth month the court took the summer retreat at Coal Mountain. On dingsi day Western Peace King Li Jiqian died; his son Dezhao sent envoys to announce the death. On jimao day of the sixth month Li Jiqian was posthumously made palace secretary, and Western Upper Gate envoy Ding Zhen was sent with condolences. On xinsi day the Tangut came with tribute. On yiyou day Zubu chief Tieluli submitted with his tribes. That month Kedun city was repaired. On gengxu day in the seventh autumn month the Zubu and Wugu came with tribute. On jiayin day Xi princely establishment military inspector Yelü Shilu was appointed southern chancellery great king. On yiyou day of the eighth month Zubu chief Tieluli came to court. On bingxu day the Emperor attended upon the Empress Dowager. On jihai day of the ninth month Western Xia's Li Dezhao sent envoys thanking the court for condolences and posthumous honors. On guichou day the court visited Nühe Hot Springs and renamed them Songlin. On the dingsi new moon of the tenth winter month the court encamped at Qiduh River. On wuchen day Prince of Chu Longyou was appointed Southwestern Pacification Commissioner. On renchen day of the eleventh month Daoshinu, son of the late yuyue Yelü Xiuge, and Gao Jiu and others plotted rebellion and were executed. On bingshen day a universal registration of Southern Chancellery tribal households was ordered. On guiwei day of the twelfth month tribute missions from the three capitals and all circuits were abolished.

On bingyin day southern privy commissioner Xing Baopu died, and court was suspended for three days. On jichou day of the third month tribal tribute missions for the Thousand Age Festival, the winter solstice, and the Double Fifth were abolished. On yiwei day Western Xia's Li Dezhao sent envoys presenting Li Jiqian's bequeathed possessions. On dingmao day of the fourth summer month the Emperor attended upon the Empress Dowager. In the fifth month the court went to Coal Mountain for the summer retreat. On wuwu day of the sixth month Kedun City was made Zhen Prefecture and its garrison named Jian'an Army. On jiashen day of the seventh autumn month envoys were sent to invest Li Dezhao of Western Xia as King of Xiping. On dinghai day the Wunai, Punuli, Po'ali, Yuelidu, Aolimi, and other tribes came with tribute. On bingchen day of the eighth month the Tangut came with tribute. On gengshen day Zubu chief Tielili came to court. On wuchen day Tielili requested marriage, and the request was refused. On bingzi day the court halted at Quanya Mountain. On jichou day of the ninth month Goryeo was notified of the southern campaign. On bingwu day the court visited Nanjing. The Jurchen sent envoys presenting the wife and children of the captured Wu Zhaoqing. On dingwei day sacrifice was performed at Emperor Taizong's temple. Northern Court Great King Malugu and Grand Commandant Laojunnu were put in charge of the Northern and Southern Princely House troops. On gengxu day King of Chu Longyou was ordered to remain at the capital. On jiwei day of the intercalary month the southern campaign began. On guihai day the court halted at Gu'an. A captured spy was used in the ghost-arrow rite. On jiazi day black ox and white horse were sacrificed to heaven and earth. On bingyin day the Liao army fought Song forces at Tangxing and inflicted a great defeat. On dingmao day Xiao Talin fought the Song army at Suicheng and defeated it. On gengwu day the army encamped at Wangdu. On yiyou day of the tenth winter month black and white sheep were sacrificed to heaven and earth. On bingxu day Ying Prefecture was attacked but not taken. On jiawu day Qizhou was taken, and surrendering troops were rewarded with wine and dried meat. Sacrifice was performed to heaven and earth. On jiyou day King of Xiping Li Dezhao sent envoys thanking the court for the investiture. On guihai day of the eleventh month cavalry commander Yelü Keli encountered Song forces at Ming Prefecture and repelled them. On jiazi day Eastern Capital regent Xiao Paiya captured Song officials of Wei prefecture Tian Fengji, Guo Shourong, Chang Xian, Liu Chuo, and others and presented them. On dingmao day Southern Court Great King Shanbu reported that Song had sent bows and arrows to Wang Jizhong and secretly requested peace. An edict ordered Wang Jizhong to meet the envoy, and peace was granted. On gengwu day Deqing Army was captured. On renshen day the court halted at Chanyuan. Xiao Talin was struck by a hidden crossbow bolt and died. On yihai day Tongli Army was captured. On dingchou day Song sent Vice Commissioner for Court Ceremonies Cao Liyong seeking peace, and the Flying Dragon Commissioner Han Qi was immediately sent with a letter in reply. On the gengchen new moon of the twelfth month there was a total solar eclipse. On guiwei day Song again sent Cao Liyong, and because there was no intention to return territory, Supervisory Gate Guard General Yao Shuzhi was sent with a letter in reply. On wuzi day Song sent Li Jichang seeking peace, addressing the Empress Dowager as aunt and offering yearly payment of one hundred thousand taels of silver and two hundred thousand bolts of silk. Peace was granted, and Gate Commissioner Ding Zhen was immediately sent with a letter in reply. On jichou day an edict ordered all armies to stand down. That month the army withdrew. The Empress Dowager granted Grand Chancellor King of Qi Han Dechang the surname Yelü and transferred him to King of Jin. That year jinshi Li Kefeng and three others passed the examinations.

In the twenty-third year, on wuwu day of the first spring month, the court returned and halted at Nanjing. On gengshen day a great feast was held for generals and soldiers, and ranks and rewards were granted in varying measure. On bingxu day of the second month the border market at Zhenwu Army was restored. On dingsi day Western Xia sent envoys reporting the capture of Song's Qingcheng. On xinyou day the court had audience with the Empress Dowager. Tiyin Huage was appointed Southern Court Great King, and mobile army supervisor Laojunnu was appointed tiyin. On yichou day the Tangut tribes were pacified. On dingmao day the Uyghur came with tribute. On dingchou day the Feihu recruitment-and-pacification commissioner of Yi Prefecture was changed to pacification commissioner. On bingxu day of the fourth summer month the Jurchen and Arsalan Uyghur each sent envoys with tribute. On yiwei day the Iron Li came with tribute. On jihai day the Tangut invaded. On the wushen new moon of the fifth month Song sent Sun Jin and others to congratulate the Empress Dowager's birthday. On yimao day gold and silk were granted to the families of soldiers killed in battle. On bingyin day Goryeo, because of peace with Song, sent envoys to offer congratulations. On renchen day of the sixth month the court went to Coal Mountain for the summer retreat. On jiawu day Zubu chief Tielili sent envoys congratulating the peace with Song. On jihai day the nine tribes of Dadan state sent envoys on a friendly visit. On guichou day of the seventh autumn month the court inquired after the Empress Dowager's health. On wuwu day the Tangut came with tribute. On xinyou day black ox and white horse were sacrificed to heaven and earth. On renxu day the Ugu came with tribute. On dingmao day the Jurchen sent envoys with tribute. Arsalan Uyghur sent envoys requesting the release of previously detained envoys, and all were sent off. On jiaxu day of the ninth month Grand Commandant Ali and Grand Tutor Yang Liu were sent to congratulate the Song emperor's birthday. On the bingzi new moon of the tenth winter month the Bigud came with tribute. On wuzi day the court had audience with the Empress Dowager. On jiawu day the court halted at Qidu River. On guimao day Song's yearly tribute first arrived; afterward it became regular. On wushen day of the eleventh month the Emperor sent Grand Preceptor Hezhu and distribution commissioner Han Song, and the Empress Dowager sent Grand Preceptor Pannu and Secretariat drafter Gao Zheng to Song to congratulate the New Year. On xinhai day the court watched fishing on the Sanggan River. On dingsi day an edict ordered Grand Chancellor Yelü Dechang removed from the palace household registry and affiliated with the Horizontal Tents. On bingshen day of the twelfth month Song sent Zhou Jian and others to congratulate the Thousand Age Festival. On dingyou day Song again sent Zhang Ruogu and others to congratulate the New Year.

In the twenty-fourth year, in the first spring month, the court went to Yuanyang Marsh. On the renyin new moon of the fifth summer month the court went to Coal Mountain for the summer retreat. Imperial Consort Hu of You was buried alive at Huaizhou, Lady Yilan was imprisoned at Nanjing, and all remaining conspirators were buried alive. On the xinchou new moon of the seventh autumn month the court made a southern tour. On bingxu day of the eighth month Nanjing Palace's Xuanjiao Gate was renamed Yuanhe, the outer three gates Nanduan, the left side gate Wanchun, and the right side gate Qianqiu. That month Shazhou Dunhuang King Cao Shou sent envoys presenting Arabian horses and fine jade, and paired robes, silver vessels, and other items were granted in return. In the ninth month the court visited Nanjing. On the gengwu new moon of the tenth winter month the Emperor led the officials in bestowing on the Empress Dowager the honorific Sage Virtue, Divine Strategy, Responsive Fortune, Initiating Transformation, and Sustaining Heaven Empress Dowager, and the officials bestowed on the Emperor the honorific Utmost Virtue, Broad Filiality, Illustrious Sagacity, Heaven-Assisted Emperor. A general amnesty was proclaimed. That year jinshi Yang Ji and twenty-three others passed the examinations.

In the twenty-fifth year, in the first spring month, the Central Capital was built. In the second month the court went to Yuanyang Marsh. In the fourth summer month the court went to Coal Mountain for the summer retreat. In the sixth month Imperial Consort Hu was granted death at her place of confinement. On renshen day of the seventh autumn month the mother of King of Xiping Li Dezhao died, and envoys were sent to mourn and sacrifice. On jiaxu day envoys were sent to recall him from mourning. In the ninth month Northwestern Road pacification commissioner Xiao Tuyu attacked the Zubu and defeated them. On bingshen day of the tenth winter month the court halted at the Central Capital. On yiyou day of the twelfth month famine victims of Raozhou were relieved.

On the gengshen new moon of the fifth month the court returned to the Upper Capital. On bingyin day Goryeo presented dragon-whisker grass mats. On jisi day envoys were sent to congratulate the completion of the Central Capital. On gengwu day the court offered sacrifice at the Zu and Huai mausoleums. On xinwei day the court encamped at Huaizhou. In the seventh autumn month the posthumous titles of Emperor Taizu, Emperor Taizong, the Emperor Who Yielded the Realm, and Emperor Shizong were augmented; Imperial Younger Brother Li Hu was also posthumously titled Emperor Qinshun. On the wuzi new moon of the tenth winter month the court visited the Central Capital. In the twelfth month Xiao Tuyu reported a campaign against the Ganzhou Uighurs, subdued their king Yelali, reassured the people, and returned. That year Shi Kezhong and twelve others passed the examinations.

On jiashen day of the eighth month the court made a northern tour. On the renzi new moon of the eleventh winter month the firewood-and-script rites were performed. On yiyou day of the twelfth month the court made a southern tour. The Empress Dowager fell ill. On wuzi day a general amnesty was proclaimed. On xinmao day the Empress Dowager died at the traveling palace. On renchen day envoys were sent to announce the mourning to Song, Western Xia, and Goryeo. On wushen day the court went to the Central Capital. On jiyou day an edict canceled observance of the Thousand Age Festival. That year Liu Eryi and two others passed the imperial preliminary examination.
