◎遊幸表朔漠以畜牧射獵為業，猶漢人之劭農，生生之資于是乎出。 自遼有國，建立五京，置南北院，控制諸夏，而遊田之習，尚因其舊。 太祖經營四方，有所不暇，穆宗、天祚之世，史不勝書。 今援司馬遷別書《封禪》例，列于表，觀者固足以鑒云。 作《遊幸表》。 遊幸表
◎Imperial Visits Table. On the northern steppe, herding and hunting were the foundation of livelihood, much as encouragement of farming was for the Han; the very means of sustaining life arose from this. After Liao founded its state, built the Five Capitals, and established the Southern and Northern Administrations to govern the Chinese regions, the custom of imperial field tours nevertheless persisted unchanged. Taizu, busy securing the realm on every side, had little time for such pursuits; under Muzong and Tianzuo, the annals could scarcely keep count. Here, following Sima Qian's example of treating the Feng and Shan sacrifices in a separate fascicle, these events are set forth in tabular form, giving readers matter enough for reflection.
