乾隆四十六年，大學士阿桂討撒拉爾亂回蘇四十三，舒亮從。 In Qianlong 46, Grand Secretary Agui marched against the Salar rebel Su Forty-three, and Shu Liang accompanied the expedition.

阿桂令海蘭察自山西攻賊卡，舒亮自南山進，當賊鋒，賊競出，射舒亮，傷左股，舒亮拔箭裹創，复戰，奪賊卡四，殺賊百餘。 Agui ordered Hailancha to strike the rebel stockades from the west while Shu Liang advanced from the southern heights to take the enemy's front. The rebels poured out to meet him and shot Shu Liang through the left thigh. He pulled out the arrow, bound the wound, and went back into the fight, capturing four stockades and killing more than a hundred men.
