冬十月，北面招討使戴思遠攻德勝寨之北城，晉人來援，思遠敗於戚城。 In the tenth month of winter Dai Siyuan attacked Desheng’s north wall; Jin relief defeated him at Qi.

龍德二年春正月，戴思遠率師襲魏州。 In the first month of Longde 2 Dai Siyuan raided Weizhou.

時晉王方攻鎮州，故思遠乘虛以襲之，陷成安，而思遠遂急攻德勝北城，晉將李存審極力拒守。 While the Prince of Jin besieged Zhenzhou, Siyuan took Cheng'an and stormed Desheng’s north wall; Li Cunshen held firm.

二月，晉王以兵至，思遠收軍而退，復保楊村。 In the second month the Prince of Jin came up; Siyuan withdrew to Yang village.

戴思遠又下淇門、共城、新鄉等三縣。 Dai Siyuan also seized Qimen, Gongcheng, and Xinxiang.

〈（《玉堂閑話》：戴思遠任浮陽日，有部曲毛璋，為性輕悍。 (According to Tales from the Jade Hall: While Dai Siyuan was governing Fuyang, one of his retainers was Mao Zhang, known for his reckless, aggressive nature.

梁末，戴思遠為橫海軍節度使，璋事思遠為軍校。 At Liang’s end Dai Siyuan held Henghai. Zhang served him as a camp officer.

晉已下魏博，思遠棄滄州出奔，璋以滄州降晉，以功為貝州刺史。 After Jin took Weibo, Siyuan abandoned Cangzhou and fled. Zhang surrendered Cangzhou to Jin and for his deed was made prefect of Bei.
