莊宗平中原，全義合與敬翔、李振等族誅，又通賂於劉皇后，乘莊宗幸洛，言臣已有郊天費用。 When Zhuangzong conquered the Central Plain, Quanyi deserved execution with Jing Xiang, Li Zhen, and their kin; he bribed Empress Liu and, when Zhuangzong came to Luoyang, claimed he already had funds for the suburban sacrifice.

河南令羅貫，方正文章之士，事全義稍慢，全義怒告劉皇后，斃貫於枯木之下，朝野冤之。 Luo Guan of Henan, a principled scholar-official, showed Quanyi slight disrespect; Quanyi complained to Empress Liu and had him killed under a dead tree, to the outrage of court and country.
