明宗昭懿皇后夏氏，生秦王從榮及閔帝。 Empress Zhaoyi Xia, consort of Mingzong, bore the Prince of Qin Congrong and the Min Emperor.

同光初，後以疾崩，明宗即位，追封為晉國夫人。 In the early Tongguang era she died of illness. When Mingzong took the throne, she was posthumously enfeoffed as Lady of Jin.

長興中，明宗以秦、宋二王位望既隆，因思從貴之義，乃下製曰：「故晉國夫人夏氏，素推仁德，久睦宗親，嘗施內助之方，不見中興之盛，予當御極，子並為王，有鵲巢之高，無翬衣之貴，貞魂永逝，懿範常存，考本朝之文，沿追冊之制，將慰懷於九族，冀葉慶於四星。 In the Changxing era, as the Princes of Qin and Song had risen in rank and prestige, Mingzong, reflecting on the duty of honoring one's mother, issued an edict: "The late Lady of Jin, Lady Xia, always promoted benevolence and long kept kin harmonious. She aided from within yet did not live to see restoration. When I took the throne and my sons were made princes, she had the magpie's nest yet not the pheasant robe. Her chaste soul has passed, but her excellent example endures. Following our dynasty's texts and the institutions of posthumous enfeoffment, I shall comfort the nine clans and hope to bring blessing to the four stars.
