原本過於簡略，疑有刪節，今據《歐陽史·家人傳》云：初，帝舉兵於魏，漢以兵圍帝第，時張貴妃與諸子青哥、意哥，侄守筠、奉超、定哥皆被誅。 The base text is so terse that passages may have been cut; the following is drawn from Ouyang Xiu's family biographies. When the future Taizu first took up arms in Wei, the Later Han besieged his household. The honored consort Zhang, the boys Qingge and Yige, and the nephews Shoujun, Fengchao, and Dingge were all put to death.

奉超贈左監門衛將軍； Fengchao was honored as General of the Left Gate Guards;

又詔曰：「故皇從弟贈左領軍衛將軍守願、贈左監門衛將軍奉超、贈左千牛衛將軍遜等，頃因季世，不享遐齡，每念非辜，難忘有慟。 A second edict read: "My late cousins Shouyuan, Fengchao, and Xun—honored respectively as generals of the Left Army of Inspired Majesty, the Left Gate Guards, and the Left Thousand-Ox Guards—perished young in violent times. Remembering their undeserved deaths, I cannot lay grief aside.

初，帝舉兵於魏，漢以兵圍帝第，時張貴妃與諸子青哥、意哥，侄守筠、奉超、定哥，皆被誅。 Earlier, when the emperor raised his army in Wei, Later Han besieged his residence. Imperial Consort Zhang, the sons Qingge and Yige, and the nephews Shoujun, Fengchao, and Dingge were all executed.

奉超贈左監門衛將軍； that Fengchao be posthumously made general of the Left Gate Guard;

又詔曰：「故皇從弟贈左領軍衞將軍守愿、贈左監門衞將軍奉超、贈左千牛衞將軍遜等，頃因季世，不享遐齡，每念非辜，難忘有慟。 He issued another edict: "My late cousins, posthumously General of the Left Army Guard Shouyuan, posthumously General of the Left Gate Guard Fengchao, and posthumously General of the Left Thousand-Ox Guard Xun, perished in these troubled times without reaching a full span of years. Whenever I recall their innocence, my grief will not be stilled.
