京畿旱，編修何金壽援漢代天災策免三公為言，請責斥樞臣，諭交部議。 When drought struck the capital region, compiler He Jinshou cited the Han precedent of dismissing the Three Excellencies after natural disasters and demanded that the Grand Councilors be held responsible; the throne ordered the ministries to deliberate.

其先有何金壽者，字鐵生，籍江夏。 Earlier there had been He Jinshou, styled Tiesheng, registered in Jiangxia.

越二年，畿輔旱，金壽曰：「此樞臣可盡彈也！」 Two years later, when the capital region suffered drought, Jinshou said: "The grand councilors may all be impeached!"

金壽引西國上下議院例，請資眾論，折強敵。 Jinshou cited the Western precedent of upper and lower houses of parliament and asked to rely on public opinion to bend a strong enemy.
