二十三年，楚之白公勝殺令尹子西、子綦，襲惠王。 In the twenty-third year, Bai Gong Sheng of Chu killed the prime ministers Zixi and Ziqi, then attacked King Hui.

二十四年，楚惠王復國，以兵北伐，殺陳湣公，遂滅陳而有之。 In the twenty-fourth year, King Hui of Chu recovered his state and with troops attacked north, killed Duke Min of Chen, then destroyed Chen and took possession of it.
