尋為高祖鎮軍、琅邪王大司馬參軍，轉主簿，安成相，中書侍郎，宋國中書、黃門侍郎，相國從事中郎。 He was soon appointed staff officer to Emperor Gaozu's Zhenjun Army and to the Prince of Langye as Grand Marshal, then served successively as chief clerk, administrator of Ancheng, gentleman of the palace secretariat, secretariat and yellow gate gentleman of the Song state, and attendant of the chancellor of state.
