明宗翼獻景孝皇帝，諱和世㻋，武宗長子也。
Emperor Mingzong, posthumous name Yixian Jingxiao, taboo name Khoshila, was Wuzong's eldest son.
成宗大德三年，命武宗撫軍北邊，帝以四年十一月壬子生。
In the third year of Dade under Chengzong, Wuzong was ordered to command troops on the northern frontier; he was born on renzi day in the eleventh month of the fourth year.
成宗崩，十一年，武宗入繼大統，立仁宗為皇太子，命以次傳於帝。
Chengzong died; in the eleventh year, Wuzong entered to succeed to the Great Foundation, installed Renzong as crown prince, and ordered that succession pass to him in order.
武宗崩，仁宗立，延祐三年春，議建東宮，時丞相鐵木叠而欲固位取寵，乃議立英宗為皇太子，又與太后幸臣識烈門譖帝於兩宮，浸潤久之，其計遂行。
