丁卯，宋州節度使、衡王友諒進瑞麥，一莖三穗。 On dingmao You Liang, Prince of Heng and military governor of Songzhou, presented lucky wheat with three ears on one stalk.

《通鑒》：友諒獻瑞麥，帝曰：「豐年為上瑞，今宋州大水，安用此為！」《Zizhi Tongjian》 records: You Liang sent lucky wheat; the Emperor said, "A full harvest is the true omen—Songzhou is flooded; what is this for!"

詔除本縣令名，遣使詰責友諒。 He struck the county magistrate from the rolls and sent an envoy to rebuke You Liang.
