於是偕伊犁將軍玉麟合疏陳善後事，略曰：「此次入寇，與張格爾不同，不過烏合夷眾，挾驅逐鈔沒之憾，虜掠取償，無志於土地人民。 He then joined Ili General Yulin in a joint memorial on postwar arrangements, stating in summary: "This invasion differs from Jahangir Khoja's campaign; it is only a mob of tribesmen, nursing grievances over expulsion and confiscation, raiding for compensation, with no ambition to hold territory or people.
