十七年，內監張道忠犯賭博，耆英瞻徇釋放，事覺，降兵部侍郎。 In 1837 the eunuch Zhang Daozhong was caught gambling. Qiying favored him and ordered his release. When this came out, Qiying was demoted to vice president of the Ministry of War.
