乙丑，張獻忠叛于穀城，羅汝才等起應之，陷房縣。 On yichou Zhang Xianzhong rose again at Gucheng; Luo Rucai and others answered his call, and Fang County was taken.

秋七月壬申，左良玉討張獻忠，敗績于羅猴山，總兵官羅岱被執死之。 In the seventh month of autumn, on renshen, Zuo Liangyu marched against Zhang Xianzhong and was routed at Luohou Mountain; regional commander Luo Dai was captured and executed.
