On dingmao in the fifth month, a meteor appeared in Wei, cup-sized, drifting slowly southwest into the turbid horizon; it was blue-white, trailed, and bright enough to light the ground. On guiyou in the intercalary sixth month, a meteor appeared in Dou and drifted slowly southwest until it set at Jian; it was blue-white and trailed, with several smaller stars following in its wake. On jiwei in the eighth month, a cup-sized meteor appeared in the Yulin Army constellation and streaked swiftly until it set on the turbid horizon; it was blue-white, trailed, and bright enough to light the ground. On renzi in the tenth month, a basin-sized meteor appeared in the Celestial Boat and streaked swiftly until it set at the Five Chariots; it was blue-black and trailed, with a deep rumbling sound. On jimao in the twelfth month, a Venus-sized meteor appeared in Lou and drifted slowly southwest until it set at the Outer Screen; it was red-yellow, trailed, and bright enough to light the ground. On jiyou in the eighth month, a cup-sized meteor appeared in Jian and streaked swiftly southwest until it set at Bie; it was blue-white, trailed, and bright enough to light the ground. On jiazi in the twelfth month, a basin-sized meteor appeared in the Great General of Heaven and streaked swiftly northwest until it set at Wang Liang; it was red-yellow, trailless, and bright enough to light the ground. On jiashen in the first month of the fourth year, a basin-sized meteor appeared in Jiao and drifted slowly southwest into the turbid horizon; it was blue-white and trailless. On renshen in the intercalary second month, a Venus-sized meteor appeared in Jing and streaked swiftly northwest until it set at the Five Chariots; it was blue-white, trailed, and bright enough to light the ground. On gengzi in the third month, a cup-sized meteor appeared at the Canopy in the Purple Palace Enclosure and set at the great star Gouchen; it was red-yellow, trailed, and bright enough to light the ground. On gengshen in the fifth month, a basin-sized meteor appeared in the River Drum and streaked swiftly northwest into the turbid horizon; it was blue-white and trailed. On jiawu in the twelfth month, a cup-sized meteor appeared in Shen and drifted slowly southeast until it set at the Military Market; it was red-yellow, trailed, and bright enough to light the ground. On gengwu in the sixth month of the fifth year, a Venus-sized meteor appeared in Western Xian and streaked swiftly northeast until it set inside the Celestial Market Enclosure; it was blue-white, trailed, and bright enough to light the ground. On dingmao in the third month of the first year of Xuanhe, a basin-sized meteor appeared in Liu and streaked swiftly northeast into the Supreme Palace Enclosure; it was red-yellow, trailed, and shone brightly on the ground. On wuzi in the tenth month, a basin-sized meteor appeared in Cloud and Rain and drifted slowly southwest until it set inside the Yulin Army; it was blue-white and shone brightly on the ground. On gengyin in the sixth month of the second year, a meteor appeared south of Di, Venus-sized. It streaked swiftly northeast into the Celestial Market Enclosure without a trail. On xinsi in the twelfth month, a cup-sized meteor appeared southwest of Kui and drifted slowly southwest until it set in the north; it was red-yellow, trailed, and shone brightly on the ground. On guiwei in the seventh month of the third year, a Venus-sized meteor appeared in Dou and streaked swiftly southeast into the turbid horizon; it was blue-white, trailed, and shone brightly on the ground. On bingyin in the eleventh month of the fourth year, a cup-sized meteor appeared north of Wang Liang and streaked swiftly until it set north of the Upper Assistant inside the Purple Palace Enclosure; it was red-yellow, trailed, and shone brightly on the ground. On bingwu in the second month of the fifth year, a cup-sized meteor appeared northeast of the North River and drifted slowly southeast until it set at Zhen; it was red-yellow, trailed, and shone brightly on the ground. On dingyou in the seventh month of the sixth year, a basin-sized meteor appeared at the Solar Guard and streaked swiftly northeast into the turbid horizon; it was red-yellow, trailed, and shone brightly on the ground. On wuzi in the eleventh month of the seventh year, a cup-sized meteor appeared north of Wang Liang and streaked swiftly to the north of the Upper Assistant in the Purple Palace Enclosure; it was red-yellow, trailed, and shone brightly on the ground.

On renzi in the tenth month of the sixth year, a meteor appeared northwest of Bi. On renyin in the eighth month of the seventh year, a meteor fell at Bian. On yisi in the eleventh month of the eighth year, a meteor appeared northeast of the Celestial Granary. On guiwei in the fifth month of the ninth year, a meteor appeared southeast of Fang. On jiwei in the eighth month of the seventeenth year, a meteor appeared in Wei and drifted slowly until it set at Guansuo; it was blue-white, trailed, shone brightly on the ground, and was Venus-sized. On dinghai in the sixth month of the twenty-sixth year, a meteor appeared in the northeast, its light flooding the ground. On wuxu in the sixth month of the twenty-eighth year, a meteor fell in daylight with a three-zhang tail and set in the northwest. On wuyin in the eighth month of the twenty-ninth year, a red-yellow meteor about three chi long appeared southwest of the Purple Palace Enclosure and streaked swiftly southwest until it set northeast of the great star Gouchen. On yimao in the sixth month of the thirty-first year, a red-white meteor appeared at Right Sheti and streaked swiftly southeast until it set; it was trailed and Jupiter-sized. On dingsi, a blue-white meteor appeared and streaked swiftly from the northeast to set in the southeast; it was trailed and as large as a lamp mouth. On jiazi, a red-yellow meteor appeared in Di and drifted slowly until it set at the Celestial Field in Jiao; it began small, then grew Venus-sized, and smaller stars followed in its wake. On renwu in the ninth month, a meteor fell in daylight, roughly three zhang long.

On bingwu another appeared from the Celestial Market Enclosure and drifted slowly until it set at Di; it was blue-white, faintly trailed, and Saturn-sized. On guichou, a blue-white meteor appeared at the Weaver Girl and streaked swiftly until it set northwest of Guansuo; it was bright, Saturn-sized, and lit the ground. On bingchen, a red-yellow meteor appeared on the Imperial Road and streaked swiftly until it set southwest of the Celestial Club; it was trailed and Saturn-sized. On gengshen in the eighth month, a red-yellow meteor appeared in the Yulin Army and streaked swiftly southeast until it set on the turbid horizon. On wuchen, a red-yellow meteor appeared in Xu and streaked swiftly until it set southwest of Niu. On renshen, a red-blue meteor appeared in the Celestial Market Enclosure and drifted slowly until it set northwest of Western Xian. On guiyou, a red-yellow meteor appeared in Bi and streaked swiftly until it struck and set at Wang Liang, Venus-sized. On bingzi, a blue-white meteor appeared at the gate of the Yulin Army and drifted slowly along a winding path until it set in the turbid southeast. On xinsi, a red-yellow meteor appeared in the Southern Dipper and drifted slowly into the Yulin Army until it set; it was trailed and Venus-sized; next came another, red-yellow and trailed, also Venus-sized; it appeared at the Cloud and Rain star and drifted slowly southwest until it set below Nu. On wuzi, a blue-white meteor appeared southeast of the Yulin Army gate and drifted slowly until it set on the turbid horizon; it was trailed and Saturn-sized. Another blue-white meteor appeared at the Celestial Granary and streaked swiftly southeast; it was trailed, Jupiter-sized, and set on the turbid horizon. On gengxu in the ninth month, a red-yellow meteor appeared at the outer seat of the Purple Palace Enclosure and streaked swiftly northwest until it reached and set at the Shangshu star of the inner seat. On gengyin in the eleventh month, a red-yellow meteor appeared in Zhen and streaked swiftly southeast until it set at the Cavalry Officer star; it was trailed and Jupiter-sized. On dingwei, a bolide appeared in the Celestial Boat and streaked swiftly until it set northwest of the inner Kitchen at the outer seat of the Purple Palace Enclosure; it exploded into two smaller stars; it was blue-white, trailed, lit the ground, and was Jupiter-sized. On xinyou in the second month of the second year, a bolide appeared at the Quan star and drifted slowly until it set southwest of the great star of the Five Emperors' Seat inside the Supreme Palace Enclosure; it was blue-white, faintly trailed, and Jupiter-sized. On dingchou in the sixth month, a blue-white meteor appeared at Wang Liang and streaked swiftly until it struck and set southwest of Tianjin. On jimao, a bolide appeared at Zaofu and streaked swiftly until it set southeast of the great star Gouchen inside the Purple Palace Enclosure; it was blue-white and Saturn-sized. On xinhai, a red-yellow meteor appeared at the Celestial Pass and streaked swiftly through the mouth of Bi until it set in the northwest; it was trailed, Venus-sized, and shone brightly on the ground. On bingchen in the tenth month, a red-yellow meteor appeared in the State of Zhao and drifted slowly southwest until it struck and set at Zhao's eastern star; it was trailed and Saturn-sized.
