The Jiang-Zhe Branch Secretariat comprised thirty circuits, one prefecture, two departments, twenty-six dependent departments, and one hundred forty-three dependent counties. This province had 180 land relay stations and 82 water relay stations.

Hangzhou Circuit (upper grade) In early Tang it was Hangzhou; later it was renamed Yuhang Commandery, then Hangzhou again. During the Five Dynasties Qian Liu held the Two Zhes and proclaimed the Kingdom of Wuyue. When Emperor Gaozong of Song fled south, he made it his capital as Lin'an Prefecture. In Yuan 13, after the conquest of Jiangnan, the Two-Zhe Military Commission was set up and soon renamed a Pacification Commission. In year 15 it became the Hangzhou Circuit intendant's office. In year 21 the Jiang-Huai Branch Secretariat was transferred from Yangzhou to Hangzhou and renamed the Jiang-Zhe Branch Secretariat. This circuit registered 360,850 households and 1,834,710 persons. Tallies from the Zhiyuan 27 household register. It oversaw two offices, eight counties, and one department.

Left and Right Record Offices In Jianyan 3, when Gaozong moved the capital to Hangzhou, nine urban wards were set up. In Zhiyuan 14 it was split into four corner Record Offices. In Taiding 2 they were combined into left and right Record Offices.

Songjiang Prefecture was a subordinate locality of Suzhou under Tang. Under Song it was a subordinate locality of Xiuzhou. In Zhiyuan 14 it was elevated to Huating Prefecture. In year 15 it was renamed Songjiang Prefecture, with Huating County retained under its jurisdiction. It registered 163,931 households. Zhishun tax-grain figures. It oversaw two counties:

In Zhiyuan 12 the military prefecture was re-established, with Pacification Commission duties exercised concurrently. In year 14 it was elevated to Jiangyin Circuit; it has since been reduced to Jiangyin Department. It registered 53,821 households and 301,177 persons.

Jiqing Circuit (upper grade) In early Wude, the Yangzhou Southeast Circuit mobile grand secretariat was established. Later restored as Jiangzhou; the mobile secretariat was abolished, Yangzhou moved to Jiangdu, Jinling renamed Baixia, and the territory placed under Runzhou. In the Zhenguan era, Baixia was renamed Jiangning. In the Zhide era, Jiangning Commandery was established. In the Qianyuan era, it was renamed Shengzhou. Later the Yang clan held the area and made it Jinling Prefecture. Southern Tang's Li house renamed it Jiangning Prefecture. When the Song conquered Southern Tang, it was restored as Shengzhou. Under Emperor Renzong, when Prince Shen established his princely domain, it was elevated to Jiankang Army. Emperor Gaozong made it Jiankang Prefecture and a provisional capital; it also served as the seat of the Yangzi riverine commissariat. In Zhiyuan 12 it submitted allegiance. In year 14 it was elevated to Jiankang Circuit. The Branch Censorate was first established at Yangzhou, then moved to Hangzhou, then Jiangzhou, then back to Hangzhou; In year 23 its seat was moved from Hangzhou to Jiankang. In Tianshun 2, owing to Wenzong's princely residence, Jiankang Circuit was renamed Jiqing Circuit. It registered 214,548 households and 1,072,690 persons. It oversaw one office, three counties, and two departments.

Longxing Circuit (upper grade) In early Tang it was Hongzhou; later Yuzhang Commandery, then Hongzhou again. Under Song it was elevated to Longxing Prefecture. In Zhiyuan 12 a mobile grand marshal's office and pacification commission were established; it still oversaw Nanchang, Xinjian, Fengcheng, Jinxian, Fengxin, Jing'an, Fenning, and Wuning counties, and a Record Office was set up. In year 14 the grand marshal's office became the Jiangxi Circuit Pacification Commission, the circuit became a route commandery, and a branch secretariat was established. In year 15 the Jiangxi East-Lake Circuit Surveillance Commission was established, and the secretariat was moved to Ganzhou. In year 16 it was moved back to Longxing. In year 17 it was merged into the Fujian Branch Secretariat, leaving only a pacification commission. Re-established in year 19; the pacification commission was abolished and it was placed under the crown prince's appanage. In year 21 Longxing Prefecture was renamed Longxing. In year 23 Fengcheng County was elevated to Fu Department and Ning Department was established at Wuning County, overseeing Wuning and Fenning counties. In Dade 5 Ning Department was established at Fenning County, and Wuning County was placed under Longxing Circuit. It registered 371,436 households and 1,485,744 persons. Tallies from the Zhiyuan 27 household register. It oversaw one office, six counties, and two departments.
