The Court of the Heir Apparent's Establishment held the upper second rank. In Zhiyuan 19 the Court of the Crown Prince's Affairs was established to assist the crown prince on his left and right. It had one Left and one Right Grand Preceptor; two Associate Grand Preceptors, two Grand Preceptor Assistants, and two Court Judges; sixty-two clerical staff; and, set up separately, two Palace Retainers and Guests, one Left and one Right Moral Instructor, one Left and one Right Supporter of Goodness, two Collators, and one Central Palace Attendant and one Central Approver each. In year 31, after Crown Prince Yuzong's death, the court's revenues, grain, recruitment rules, artisans, and labor service were all transferred to the empress dowager's establishment, and the office was renamed the Huizheng Court to manage them. In Dade 9 the Court of the Crown Prince's Affairs was reestablished, but abolished again soon afterward. In year 11 it was established once more at the lower first rank, with twelve posts. It was abolished in Zhida 4. It was restored in Yanyou 4 and abolished again in year 7. In Taiding 1 the Huizheng Court was abolished and the Court of the Crown Prince's Affairs was reestablished on the earlier model. In Tianli 1 the Court of the Crown Prince's Affairs was renamed the Office of Stored Blessings Commissioners. In year 2 it was abolished, then the Court of the Crown Prince's Affairs was restored. Shortly afterward it became the Court of the Heir Apparent's Establishment, with six Court Commissioners of the upper second rank; two Associate Commissioners of the upper third rank; two Court Vice Directors of the lower third rank; two Associate Vice Directors of the upper fourth rank; two Court Judges of the upper fifth rank; two Deliberation Officers of the lower fifth rank; two Chief Secretaries of the upper sixth rank; two Record Examiners and two Registry Controllers, all of the upper eighth rank; Its staff included twelve clerks, four translators, two Muslim clerks, two interpreters, two seal keepers, ten dispatchers, and six registry clerks. Its subordinate offices are listed below.

The Chamberlain's Office held the third rank, with two Chamberlains, two Chamberlain Assistants, two registry clerks, and one record examiner, and managed the crown prince's meals, supplies, tents, and storehouses. It was established in Zhiyuan 20. In year 31 it became the Inner Steward Office and was placed under the Huizheng Court. It was restored in Dade 11 and promoted to the lower second rank. It was abolished in Zhida 4. It was restored in Yanyou 4 at the upper third rank. It was abolished again in year 7. In Taiding 1 the Inner Steward Office was once again renamed the Chamberlain's Office. It was abolished in Tianli 1 but restored again shortly afterward. In year 2 it was abolished once more.

The Directorate of Curtains managed the crown prince's supplies and tents, with two directors, two assistant directors, two clerks, and two scribes.

The Office of the Palace Equerry held the lower third rank and managed saddles, bridles, bows, arrows, and similar equipment. It was established in Zhiyuan 20. It had two Palace Equerries, two Assistant Equerries, two registry clerks, and one record examiner. In year 31 it was renamed the Office of the Chief Equerry. In Dade 11 it became the Office of the Palace Equerry once again. It was abolished in Zhida 4. It was restored in Yanyou 4 and abolished again in year 7. It was restored in Taiding 1. In Tianli 2 two more Palace Equerries and two more Assistant Equerries were added, but the office was abolished again soon afterward.

The Storehouse of Martial Resources managed military equipment and had one intendant and one commissioner. The Storehouse of Steed Equipment managed saddles and bridles and had one intendant and one commissioner.

The Office of Extended Blessings held the upper third rank and oversaw Buddhist construction projects. It had two commissioners, one associate commissioner, two vice commissioners, two registry clerks, and one record examiner. It was first established in Zhiyuan 21 and placed under the Court of the Crown Prince's Affairs. In year 31 it was transferred to the Huizheng Court. In Dade 11, when the Court of the Crown Prince's Affairs was restored, the Office of Extended Blessings was set up separately at the same upper third rank, with directors, assistants, and other posts. In Taiding 1 it was again placed under the Court of the Crown Prince's Affairs. It was abolished in Tianli 1, restored in year 2, and given two additional assistant directors.

The Directorate of Palace Supplies had four directors, two senior superintendents, two junior superintendents, two assistants, one administrator, one registry officer, and one record examiner. It managed the Supplies, Literary Treasures, and Stored Rarities storehouses and the inner palace's provision of silks, valuables, and similar goods. It was established in Zhida 1. In Tianli 2 its posts were restored as before, and the three storehouses were placed under the Inner Steward Office.

The Directorate of Imperial Medicine held the upper third rank, supervised the Eastern Palace physicians, and compounded medicines for presentation. In Zhiyuan 19 the Office of Imperial Medicine was established at the lower fifth rank. In year 31 it became the Office of Managing Medicine and was abolished again soon afterward. In Dade 11 the Directorate of Imperial Medicine was restored. It was abolished in Zhida 4; in Taiding 4 the office was restored. In Tianli 2 it became the Directorate of Imperial Medicine at the upper third rank. It had two darughachi, three directors, two senior superintendents, two junior superintendents, two assistants, one administrator, one registry officer, and eighteen clerical staff in all. It had one subordinate office and two bureaus.

The Broad Relief Intendant Office had one darughachi, one intendant, one associate intendant, and one vice intendant, and compounded medicines for distribution to the poor.

The Traveling Imperial Pharmacy Bureau had one darughachi, two commissioners, and two vice commissioners, and supplied medicines to the Eastern Palace.

It was first established in Tianli 2.

The Office of Stored Provisions held the upper third rank, with four directors, two vice directors, two assistants, two section chiefs, one record examiner, six clerks, two translators, two interpreters, two seal keepers, six petitioners, and four registry clerks, and managed the crown prince's meals. It was established in Tianli 2.

In Zhiyuan 19 the Office of Imperial Treasures was established at the lower fifth rank. In year 20 it was promoted to the upper fifth rank. It was abolished in year 31. In Dade 11 it was raised to a directorate at the upper third rank. It was abolished in Zhida 4. It was restored in Yanyou 4 and abolished again in year 7. It was restored in Taiding 1. It was abolished in Tianli 1 and restored again in year 2.

In Zhiyuan 31 the Office of Imperial Treasures became the Office of Palace Audiences at the lower fifth rank, with posts as described. In Yuanzhen 1 it was promoted to the fourth rank, with four posts. In Dade 11 it was promoted to the upper third rank. It was abolished in Zhizhi 3.

The Directorate of Selection and Use held the upper third rank, with three directors, two senior superintendents, two junior superintendents, two assistants, one administrator, one registry officer, and one record examiner, and managed receipts and disbursements from the Supplies, Literary Treasures, and Stored Rarities storehouses. It was established in Zhida 1 and abolished in Zhizhi 3.

It had formerly belonged to the Office of Ceremonial Phoenixes; in Huangqing 1 it was transferred to the Huizheng Court and thus became part of the Office of Manifest Blessings Commissioners. It was abolished in Zhizhi 2.

The Jiangxi Revenue Intendant Office held the lower fifth rank, with one darughachi, one intendant, one associate intendant, and one vice intendant, and managed estates, household registers, revenues, grain, construction, and related affairs. It was established in Zhiyuan 27 and abolished in Zhizhi 2. The Weaving and Dyeing Bureau had one bureau commissioner, one vice commissioner, one bureau deputy, and one associate commissioner.

The Sangluo Emei Isle Household Supervisory Office had one intendant and one vice intendant. The Fengguo and Other Isles Household Supervisory Office had one intendant, one associate intendant, and one vice intendant. The Longxing Hunting and Fishing Supervisory Office had one intendant and one vice intendant.

The Ezhou and Other Places Household and Land-and-Water Estates Intendant Office had one darughachi, one intendant, one associate intendant, and one vice intendant, and managed gardens, lands, manor estates, and households belonging to the crown prince south of the Yangtze. It was established in Zhiyuan 21 under the Court of the Crown Prince's Affairs and later transferred to the Huizheng Court. It was abolished in Zhizhi 3.

The Ruizhou Shanggao County Household Registry Chief Official Office held the lower fifth rank, with one darughachi, one chief official, and one vice chief official, and oversaw eight thousand local households. It was later transferred to the Huizheng Court and abolished in Zhizhi 3. All of the above belonged to the Huizheng Court.

The Left Guard Commandant's Office held the upper third rank, with three commandants, two vice commandants, two associate administrators, one administrator, one registry officer, and one record examiner. In Zhiyuan 16 ten thousand households of the imperial guard were assigned to the crown prince's residence, and the Imperial Guard Commandant's Office was established. In year 31 it became the Longfu Palace Left Guard Commandant's Office and was placed under the empress's establishment. In Zhida 3 eight hundred construction troops were selected, and one thousand-household office and eight hundred-household wings were set up to command them, with construction work distributed among separate units. In Yanyou 2 two instructors were appointed. In Zhizhi 3 the Military Artisans Thousand-Household Office was abolished.

The Crossbow Troops Thousand-Household Office had two thousand-household commanders, one chief clerk, and one disciplinary controller. The Provisions Storehouse had one commissioner and one vice commissioner.

The Right Guard Commandant's Office held the upper third rank, with three guard commandants, two vice commandants, two associate administrators, one administrator, one registry officer, and one record examiner. In Zhongtong 3 a general directorate was established from the tamachi scouts of Kublai's Five Touxia at the fourth rank, with one director-general. In year 21 it was assigned to the crown prince's residence. In year 22 it became the Mongol Imperial Guard Commandant's Office at the upper third rank. In year 31 it became the Longfu Palace Right Guard Commandant's Office, retaining its former rank. In Yanyou 2 one Confucian instructor was appointed. In year 4 one Mongol script instructor was added. Its subordinate offices are listed below.

It had six inner stewards, four court assistants, two registry clerks, one record examiner, twelve clerks, two translators, two seal keepers, two interpreters, six petitioners, and four registry clerks. The Directorate of Provisions held the fifth rank, with two directors, two assistant directors, two scribes, and thirty-five storehouse attendants, and managed meals for the inner palace. It was first established in Zhiyuan 19 under the Chamberlain's Office. In year 31 it became the Directorate of Palace Provisions and was placed under the Inner Steward Office. In Taiding 1 it was renamed the Directorate of Provisions again.

The Charcoal Bureau held the lower seventh rank, with one intendant, one commissioner, and one vice commissioner. In Zhiyuan 20 one hundred households under the crown prince's establishment burned charcoal for two months and one hundred soldiers gathered firewood for two months to meet the inner palace's annual needs. The bureau was set up to manage receipts and disbursements, with three officials who all received orders from the Court of the Crown Prince's Affairs. In Dade 11 it was transferred to the Huizheng Court.

The Stored Rarities, Literary Treasures, and Supplies storehouses all held the lower fifth rank. Each had two intendants, two commissioners, and two vice commissioners, respectively managing precious metals and jewels, silk and cotton textiles, and hides, felt, saddles, bridles, and similar goods. Early in the dynasty the crown prince's receipts and disbursements had no dedicated office or seal. In Zhiyuan 27 they were split into three storehouses, each with six officials and a varying number of storehouse keepers.

The Reserve Storehouse Intendant Office held the lower fifth rank, with one darughachi, one intendant, one commissioner, and one document controller, and managed field taxes, revenues, corvée levies, commercial taxes, and all monetary and grain receipts, transport, and related affairs. It was established in Zhiyuan 20. In year 22 a darughachi and chief officials were appointed.

The Fine Brew Bureau held the fifth rank. In Zhiyuan 17 the Beverage Administration Bureau was established. In Dade 11 it became the Beverage Administration Office and was promoted to the upper fourth rank. In Yanyou 6 the Beverage Administration Office was downgraded to a bureau. It was abolished in Zhizhi 3. It was restored in Taiding 4. In Tianli 2 it became the Fine Brew Bureau, with two intendants, two commissioners, two vice commissioners, one clerk, and four scribes.

The Xishan Coal Pit Field had one intendant, one commissioner, and two vice commissioners, all subject to orders from the Huizheng Court. It was established in Zhiyuan 24. It managed coal and lime pits at Ma'an Mountain and Dayu Temple and collected the related taxes for the empress dowager's establishment.

The Baoding and Other Circuit Hunting and Fishing Supervisory Office held the lower seventh rank, with four intendants and one registry clerk. In Zhiyuan 11 households were registered for hunting and fishing service, and households liable for silk, silver, corvée, and grain taxes were recruited, after which the supervisory office was established.

The Guangping and Zhangde Wheat Tax Supervisory Office held the lower seventh rank. In Zhiyuan 30, because the two circuits were where the court had halted while crossing the Yangtze, farmers were summoned to cultivate the land, and the office was established with officials to oversee them.

The Broad Benevolence Storehouse had one commissioner and one vice commissioner. In Zhiyuan 30 the storehouse was funded with five thousand ingots of banknote capital for lending at interest, with the proceeds remitted to the Reserve Storehouse.

The Abundant Storehouse held the lower seventh rank and stored glutinous rice for the empress's establishment. In Zhizhi 2 intendants and other officials were appointed. It was abolished in year 3. In Tianli 2 the Court of the Heir Apparent's Establishment was established, its seal was restored, and one receipt-and-disbursement supervisor, one storehouse commissioner, and two registry clerks were appointed.

The Materials Reserve Storehouse held the lower seventh rank and stored pigments, miscellaneous implements, and other goods used in construction for the crown prince's residence. It was established in Zhiyuan 25 under the Court of the Crown Prince's Affairs. In Dade 1 a seal was granted. In year 11 four officials were appointed. It was abolished in Zhizhi 3 and restored in Taiding 3. It had two commissioners, two vice commissioners, two storehouse keepers, and two registry clerks.

The Metropolitan Qielian Households Multicraft Artisans Intendant Office held the upper fifth rank, with one darughachi, one intendant, one associate intendant, one vice intendant, one senior official, four clerks, and two labor overseers.

The Standards Bureau held the lower seventh rank, with one commissioner, one vice commissioner, and two chief clerks.

The Directorate of Equipment held the lower fifth rank, with four directors, four assistant directors, one clerk, and four scribes, and managed two hundred twenty households of service retainers (Mongol turuqchi) for the inner palace. It was established in Zhiyuan 20. In year 31 it became the Directorate of Ceremonial Arrangements and was placed under the Inner Steward Office. In Taiding 1 it was renamed the Directorate of Equipment again. In Tianli 2 it was placed under this office.

The Miscellaneous Manufacture Artisans Intendant Office held the lower fourth rank, with one darughachi, one intendant, one associate intendant, one vice intendant, one chief clerk, two clerks, and two labor overseers. It was established in Zhiyuan 8. It was first subordinate to the Office of Repair and Treasures; in Zhida 3 it was transferred to the Office of Manifest Blessings Commissioners. When the Office of Manifest Blessings was abolished, all manufacturing work passed to it. In Tianli 2 it was placed under this office.

In Zhongtong 5 households of scattered residence, freed persons, and secularized monks and Daoists were ordered gathered to learn various crafts, and the General Commissioner Office for Qielian Households was set up at the upper fourth rank to oversee their manufacturing work. In Zhiyuan 9 it was promoted to the upper third rank. In Dade 11 it became the Office of Repair and Treasures. In Yanyou 6 it was promoted to the Office of Insignia Protocol Commissioners at the upper second rank. In year 7 it reverted to the Office of Repair and Treasures, with the same staff as before. In Zhizhi 3 it was again renamed a general commissioner office. one darughachi and two general commissioners, all of the upper third rank; one associate commissioner of the upper fifth rank; two vice general commissioners of the lower fifth rank; one administrator, one registry officer, one record examiner, and one document controller each; four clerks; one translator; two petition runners; and one registry clerk. Its subordinate offices are listed below:

It was established in Zhiyuan 29 with four officials appointed, receiving orders from the court. In Dade 2 it was promoted to an intendant office. It was abolished in Zhizhi 3 and restored in Taiding 4.

In year 27 it was granted a lower seventh-rank seal and began receiving orders from the provincial secretariat. In Dade 11 it was granted a lower sixth-rank seal and began receiving imperial patents. In Zhizhi 3 it again began receiving orders from the provincial secretariat. Its subordinate offices are listed below:

Princely tutor offices: from Crown Prince Kuanchibuhua down to the Prince of Qi's establishment, 45 princes in all had three officials each under every establishment—a prince's tutor, a tutor commandant, and a chief of staff. The title tutor commandant existed only for the three princes Kuanchibuhua, Yebuqan, and Woluowensun. From this rank downward, the title was prefect commandant, ranking below the prince's tutor and above the chief of staff. All three posts might be established together, but their numbers varied—some establishments had as few as one official, others as many as three. The Prince of Qi alone had a separate prince's tutor appointed.

In Zhiyuan 11 Uighur judicial officials were first established at the third rank. In year 17 it was changed to oversee the Beiting Protectorate General Office at the second rank, with twelve officials appointed. In year 20 it was renamed the Court of Review at the upper third rank. In year 22 it was again made the Chief Protector's Office, with rank restored as before. In Yanyou 3 it was promoted to the upper second rank. In year 7 it was again reduced to the lower second rank, and the official establishment was fixed as above.

The Office of August Blessings held the second rank and oversaw sacrificial offerings at the Mar Yahbh Allaha Nestorian cross temples and related affairs. four commissioners, of the lower second rank; two associate commissioners, of the lower third rank; two vice commissioners, of the lower fourth rank; two court assistants, of the lower fifth rank; one administrator, of the lower sixth rank; one chief clerk, of the lower seventh rank; one record examiner, of the upper eighth rank; two clerks; one translator, one interpreter, and one seal keeper each; and two dispatchers. It was established in Zhiyuan 26. In Yanyou 2 it was changed to a court, one director of the court was appointed, the 72 Nestorian supervisory teaching offices throughout the realm were abolished and merged, and all their affairs were transferred to it. In year 7 it was again made a directorate, and afterward the officials listed above were fixed in appointment.
