壬寅，南郊禮儀使、太常卿李燕進太廟登歌酌獻樂舞名，懿祖室曰《昭德之舞》，獻祖室曰《文明之舞》，太祖室曰《應天之舞》，昭宗室曰《永平之舞》。 On renyin Li Yan, director of southern-suburb rites and Grand Master of Ceremonies, submitted the names of the ascent songs, libation offerings, and dances for the Imperial Ancestral Temple: for the chamber of the Honored Ancestor, 《Dance of Manifest Virtue》; for the Offered Ancestor, 《Dance of Civilizing Brilliance》; for the Grand Ancestor, 《Dance of Responding to Heaven》; and for Zhaozong, 《Dance of Eternal Peace》.

癸丑，有司奏：郊祀前二日，迎祔高祖、太宗、懿祖、獻祖、太祖神主於太廟。 On guichou the rites office said that two days before the suburban rite the tablets of Gaozu through the Grand Ancestor should be brought to the temple.

議者以中興唐祚，不宜以追封之祖雜有國之君以為昭穆，自懿祖已下，宜別立廟於代州，如後漢南陽故事可也。 Some argued that restored Tang should not rank enfeoffed forebears with reigning emperors; from the Honored Ancestor down they wanted separate temples at Dai, as under Later Han.

丁亥，莊宗神主祔廟，有司請祧懿祖室，從之。 On dinghai Zhuangzong's tablet entered the temple; the court asked to retire the Yizu chamber and Mingzong agreed.

有司上言：「莊宗祔廟，懿祖祧遷，準例舍故而諱新，懿祖例不諱，忌日不行香。」 The ritual offices said: "With Zhuangzong enshrined and Yizu retired, the old taboo should yield to the new, but Yizu is not tabooed and needs no death-day incense."
