中尉李彪承間密表，告恂復與左右謀逆。 Commandant of palace guards Li Biao sent a secret memorial reporting that Xun was again plotting rebellion with his attendants.

二十二年冬，御史臺令史龍文觀坐法當死，告廷尉，稱恂前被攝左右之日，有手書自理不知狀，而中尉李彪、侍御史賈尚寢不為聞。 In the winter of year 22 the reviewing censor's clerk Long Wenguan, condemned to death for a legal offense, told the Court Commander that when Xun was seized his attendants had found a handwritten plea that he did not know what was afoot, yet Commandant Li Biao and attendant censor Jia Shang had buried the matter and never reported it.

時彪免歸，高祖在鄴，尚書表收彪赴洛，會赦，遂不窮其本末。 By then Biao had been dismissed and gone home. Gaozu was at Ye. The secretariat memorialized to arrest Biao and send him to Luoyang, but an amnesty intervened and the case was never pursued to its roots.

國史自鄧淵、崔琛、崔浩、高允、李彪、崔光以還，諸人相繼撰錄，綦儁及偉等諂說上黨王天穆及尒朱世隆，以為國書正應代人修緝，不宜委之餘人，是以儁、偉等更主大籍。 Since Deng Yuan, Cui Chen, Cui Hao, Gao Yun, Li Biao, and Cui Guang, the national history had been compiled in turn by successive scholars; Qi Jun, Wei, and others flattered Shangdang Prince Tianmu and Erzhu Shilong, arguing that the state annals ought to be edited by men of Dai and not entrusted to outsiders—so Jun, Wei, and their circle again took charge of the great registers.

始魏初鄧淵撰代記十餘卷，其後崔浩典史，游雅、高允、程駿、李彪、崔光、李琰之世修其業。 At the founding of Wei, Deng Yuan compiled the Annals of the Dynasty in more than ten scrolls. Later Cui Hao directed the historiography, and You Ya, Gao Yun, Cheng Jun, Li Biao, Cui Guang, and Li Yanzhi carried on the tradition through successive generations.

浩為編年體，彪始分作紀表志傳，書猶未出。 Hao wrote in annalistic form; Biao first organized the work into annals, tables, treatises, and biographies, but the history had still not been published.
