智氏之信韓、魏也，從而伐趙，攻晉陽城，勝有日矣，韓、魏叛之，殺智伯瑤於鑿臺之下。 The Zhi clan trusted Han and Wei and followed them in attacking Zhao, besieging the city of Jinyang. Victory was near, but Han and Wei turned against them and killed Zhi Boyao below the Zhi walls.
