魏大將軍上黨王元天穆、王老生、李叔仁又率衆四萬，攻陷大梁，分遣老生、費穆兵二萬，據虎牢，刁宣、刁雙入梁、宋，慶之隨方掩襲，並皆降款。 Grand General Prince Tianmu of Shangdang, Wang Laosheng, and Li Shuren marched again with forty thousand, took Daliang, and sent Laosheng and Fei Mu with twenty thousand to hold Hulao while Diao Xuan and Diao Shuang pushed into Liang and Song. Qingzhi ambushed them wherever they moved, and they all surrendered.

三月，壬戌，魏詔上黨王天穆討邢杲，以費穆為前鋒大都督。 In the third month, on renxu, Wei ordered the Prince of Shangdang, Yuan Tianmu, to suppress Xing Gao, appointing Fei Mu grand commander of the vanguard.

上黨王天穆等帥眾四萬攻拔大梁，分遣費穆將兵二萬攻虎牢，顥使陳慶之擊之。 The Prince of Shangdang, Yuan Tianmu, and others led forty thousand men, captured Daliang, and detached Fei Mu with twenty thousand to storm Hulao; Hao sent Chen Qingzhi against him.

費穆攻虎牢，將拔，聞天穆北渡，自以無後繼，遂降於慶之。 Fei Mu assaulted Hulao and was on the verge of taking it when he heard Tianmu had crossed north; believing he had no rear, he surrendered to Qingzhi.

己丑，費穆至洛陽，顥引入，責以河陰之事而殺之。 On jichou, Fei Mu reached Luoyang; Hao received him, blamed him for the massacre at Heyin, and executed him.
