興定元年，承充為上京元帥，上京行省太平執承充應蒲鮮萬奴。 In the first year of Xingding (1217), Chengchong was grand marshal of the Upper Capital; Taiping of the Upper Capital Branch Secretariat seized Chengchong to answer Pu Xian Wannu.

萬奴遣人招之，不從，乃射承充書入城，阿魯真得而碎之，曰：「此詐也。」 Wannu sent men to summon her, but she refused; he then shot a letter from Chengchong into the city. A Luzhen received it, tore it to pieces, and said, "This is a fraud."

萬奴兵急攻之，阿魯真衣男子服，與其子蒲帶督眾力戰，殺數百人，生擒十余人，萬奴兵乃解去。 When Wannu's troops pressed the attack, A Luzhen dressed in men's clothing and, with her son Pu Dai, directed the defenders in fierce fighting, killing several hundred men and capturing more than ten alive; Wannu's army then withdrew.

後複遣將擊萬奴兵，獲其將一人。 Later she again sent generals against Wannu's troops and captured one of his generals.

詔諸王議伐萬奴，遂命皇子貴由及諸王按赤帶將左翼軍討之。 An edict summoned the princes to deliberate on campaigning against Wannu; thereupon Prince Güyük and Prince Alchidai were ordered to lead the left wing against him.

九月，擒萬奴。 In the ninth month Wannu was captured.

子劄忽兒臣，從定宗出討萬奴有功，太宗命親王安赤臺以女也孫真公主妻之。 His son Zhahuerichen accompanied Güyük on the punitive expedition against Wantu and distinguished himself. Ögedei had Imperial Prince Anchitai give him his daughter Princess Yesunzhen in marriage.
