二十年，命爵滋偕左都御史祁俊藻赴福建查辦禁煙，與總督鄧廷楨籌備海防。 In Daoguang 20 (1840), Juezi was sent with Left Censor-in-Chief Qi Junzao to Fujian to oversee the opium ban and, with Governor-General Deng Tingzhen, to prepare coastal defences.

爵滋與俊藻方至浙江按事，復命赴福建察奏。 Juezi and Qi Junzao were inspecting affairs in Zhejiang when they were ordered back to Fujian to investigate and report.

祁宿藻，字幼章，山西壽陽人，大學士俊藻弟也。 Qi Suzao, courtesy name Youzhang, was a native of Shouyang in Shanxi and the younger brother of Grand Secretary Qi Junzao.

同治初，江南平，兄俊藻遣尋其遺櫬，得之城北僻地。 Early in the Tongzhi reign, after Jiangnan was pacified, his elder brother Junzao sent men to search for his remains and found the coffin in a secluded spot north of the city.
