十月，使歸墨壟溝師敗時所掠外委臧儒，且言嘗勸僧格桑同降。 In the tenth month, Suonuomu's envoys returned Sub-lieutenant Zang Ru, captured when the army was defeated at Molong Ravine, and said that Suonuomu had urged Senge Sang to submit with him.

攻克布朗郭宗，僧格桑遁金川。 They took Bulangguozong while Senge Sang fled into Greater Jinchuan.

三十五年，小金川頭人僧格桑掠鄂克什，阿爾泰赴達木巴宗，僧格桑出謁，還侵地。 In the thirty-fifth year Lesser Jinchuan chieftain Senggesang raided Eke Shi; Aertai went to Damubazong; Senggesang came out to pay his respects and returned the seized lands.

金川頭人索諾木攻革布什咱，僧格桑亦圍達木巴宗，侵明正土司。 Jinchuan chieftain Suonuomu attacked Gebushizan; Senggesang also besieged Damubazong and invaded the Mingzheng chieftaincy.

小金川頭人在卡外投文餽土宜，桂林卻不受，檄罪狀其酋僧格桑。 A Lesser Jinchuan chieftain outside the pass submitted a letter and local tribute; Guilin refused them and issued a proclamation listing chieftain Senggesang's crimes.

時小金川頭人澤旺子僧格桑割地乞援於大金川頭人索諾木，索諾木潛遣兵助之。 At this time Lesser Jinchuan chieftain Zewang's son Senggesang ceded territory to beg aid from Greater Jinchuan chieftain Suonuomu, who secretly sent troops to assist him.

溫福至打箭爐，分兵三道入：溫福出巴朗拉，提督董天弼自甲金達援達木巴宗，總督阿爾泰自約咱攻僧格桑。 Wen Fu reached Dajianlu and divided his forces into three columns: Wen Fu advanced by Balang La, provincial commander Dong Tianbi from Jajianda to relieve Damubazong, and governor Aertai from Yozai against Senggesang.

底木達者，僧格桑父澤旺所居寨也。 Dimuda was the stockade where Senggesang's father Zewang had lived.

師至，俘澤旺，檻致京師，誅於市，而僧格桑奔大金川。 When the army arrived, Zewang was captured, sent to the capital in a cage, and executed in the marketplace, while Senggesang fled to Greater Jinchuan.

溫福檄索諾木令縛獻僧格桑，不應。 Wen Fu ordered Suonuomu by proclamation to bind and deliver Senggesang; he refused.

三十五年，小金川土司澤旺之子僧格桑掠鄂克什，阿桂檄元俊宣諭僧格桑還侵地及所掠番民。 In Qianlong 35 (1770), Senggesang, son of the Lesser Jinchuan chieftain Zewang, plundered Ekezhi. Agui ordered Yuanjun to proclaim to Senggesang that he must restore the seized lands and return the tribal people he had taken.

三十五年，小金川土司澤旺子僧格桑為亂，攻鄂克什土司色達克拉，圍其寨。 In Qianlong 35 (1770), Senggesang, son of the Lesser Jinchuan chieftain Zewang, rebelled, attacked the Ekezhi chieftain Sedakela, and besieged his stockade.

天弼督兵駐達木巴宗，檄僧格桑斂兵退色達克拉，以其寨糧盡，乞徙達木巴宗。 Tianbi stationed troops at Damubazong and ordered Senggesang to withdraw from Sedakela. With the stockade's provisions exhausted, Sedakela pleaded to relocate to Damubazong.

三十六年，僧格桑复圍達木巴宗，並略木耳宗、巴朗拉諸地。 In Qianlong 36 (1771), Senggesang again besieged Damubazong and overran Mu'erzong, Balangla, and other positions.

會大風雪，天弼率兵自溝中潛度，遂至達木巴宗，擊僧格桑色達克拉； During a blizzard, Tianbi led his men in a stealthy crossing through the ravine, reached Damubazong, and struck Senggesang to relieve Sedakela;
