辛亥，侍中韓建罷守太保，左僕射、同平章事楊涉罷守本官，乙太常卿趙光逢為中書侍郎、平章事，翰林學士奉旨、工部侍郎、知制誥杜曉為尚書戶部侍郎、平章事。 On xinhai Han Jian stepped down as chief minister to Grand Guardian; Yang She, left vice director and co-grand councilor, returned to his former post; Zhao Guangfeng, Minister of Ceremonies, became vice director of the Secretariat and grand councilor; Du Xiao, drafting Hanlin academician and vice minister of works, became vice director of the Revenue Ministry and grand councilor.

涉，昭宗時，仕至吏部侍郎。 She, under Emperor Zhaozong, rose to Vice Minister of Personnel.

涉受命，與家人泣，語其子凝式曰：「世道方極，吾嬰網羅不能去，將重不幸，禍且累汝。」 On receiving appointment, She wept with his family and told his son Ningshi, "The age is at its extreme; I am caught in the net and cannot leave, and fresh misfortune awaits—disaster will reach even you."

涉已相，辭內職，為戶部侍郎。 After She became chief minister he resigned his inner-court post and was made Vice Minister of Revenue.

五月丁丑朔，以唐相張文蔚楊涉為門下侍郎、御史大夫薛貽矩為中書侍郎：同中書門下平章事。 On the first day of the fifth month, dingchou, the former Tang chancellors Zhang Wenwei and Yang She were made vice directors of the Chancellery (Menxia), and Censor-in-Chief Xue Yiju became vice director of the Secretariat (Zhongshu); all held the rank of co-equal grand councilor of the Secretariat and Chancellery.

十一月癸巳，张策罢，左僕射杨涉同中书门下平章事。 In the eleventh month, on the day guisi, Zhang Ce was removed; Yang She, Left Vice Director, again became co-equal grand councilor.

夏四月癸卯，楊涉罷。 In the fourth month of summer, on the day guimao, Yang She left office.

中書侍郎、同中書門下平章事楊涉為押傳國寶使，翰林學士、中書舍人張策為副； Yang She, Vice Director of the Secretariat and grand councillor, was commissioner for escorting the imperial seal, with Hanlin Academician and Secretariat Drafter Zhang Ce as deputy;

王袞冕南面，臣文蔚、臣循奉冊升殿，進讀已，臣涉、臣策奉傳國璽，臣貽矩、臣光逢奉金寶，以次升，進讀已，降，率文武百官北面舞蹈再拜賀。 The king faced south in full regalia; Wenwei and Xun read the register; She and Ce bore the transmission seal; Yiju and Guangfeng bore the gold treasures; then all civil and military officials faced north, danced, and bowed twice in congratulation.

楊涉，祖收，唐懿宗時宰相； Yang She’s grandfather Shou was chief minister under Yizong;

涉舉進士，昭宗時為吏部尚書。 She passed the jinshi and under Zhaozong was Minister of Personnel.

哀帝即位，拜中書侍郎、同中書門下平章事。 When Emperor Ai took the throne, She became Vice Director and Palace Attendant.

涉，唐名家，世守禮法，而性特謹厚，不幸遭唐之亂，拜相之日，與家人相對泣下，顧謂其子凝式曰：「吾不能脫此網羅，禍將至矣，必累爾等。」 Of a famous Tang house, ritual-bound and deeply cautious, he met the dynasty’s fall; on the day he became chief minister he wept with his family and told his son Ningshi, “I cannot escape this net—disaster will come and drag you down.”

唐之舊臣楊涉、張文蔚等皆慚懼俯伏不能對，獨循與張祎、薛貽矩盛稱梁王功德，所以順天應人者。 Tang’s old ministers Yang She and Zhang Wenwei bowed in shame and could not answer; only Xun, Zhang Yi, and Xue Yiju praised Liang’s merit and Heaven’s mandate.
