冬十月丙子，李胡子喜隱謀反，辭連李胡，下獄死。 That winter, in the tenth month, on bingzi day Li Huzi Xiyin plotted rebellion; testimony implicated Li Hu, who was imprisoned and died in custody.

十一年春二月丙寅，釋喜隱。 In the eleventh year, on bingyin day in the second spring month, Xiyin was released.

夏四月戊申朔，進封太平王罨撒葛為齊王，改封趙王喜隱為宋王，封隆先為平王，稍為吳王，道隱為蜀王，必攝為越王，敵烈為冀王，宛為衛王。 That summer, on the wushen new moon of the fourth month, Prince of Taiping Yansage was advanced to Prince of Qi; Prince of Zhao Xiyin was renamed Prince of Song; Longxian was made Prince of Ping, Shao Prince of Wu, Daoyin Prince of Shu, Bishe Prince of Yue, Dilie Prince of Ji, and Wan Prince of Wei.

夏四月，宋王喜隱坐謀反廢。 That summer, in the fourth month, Prince of Song Xiyin was deposed for plotting rebellion.

秋七月丁未朔，閤門使酌古加檢校太尉兼御史大夫，男海裏以告喜隱事，遙授隴州防禦使。 That autumn, on the dingwei new moon of the seventh month, Gate Commissioner Zhuogu was also made honorary Grand Marshal and Censor-in-Chief; his son Haili, who had reported Xiyin's conspiracy, was remotely appointed Defense Commissioner of Long Prefecture.

六月丙辰，以宋王喜隱為西南面招討使。 On bingchen day in the sixth month Prince of Song Xiyin was appointed Southwest Route pacification commissioner.

六月己亥，喜隱復謀反，囚於祖州。 On jihai day in the sixth month Xiyin plotted rebellion again and was imprisoned at Zuzhou.

夏五月丙午，上京漢軍亂，劫立喜隱不克，偽立其子留禮壽，上京留守除室擒之。 On bingwu day in the fifth summer month Han troops at Shangjing rebelled; failing to install Xiyin by force, they spuriously enthroned his son Liulishou, whom Shangjing regent Chushi captured.

秋七月壬辰，遣使賜喜隱死。 On renchen day in the seventh autumn month envoys were sent to order Xiyin put to death.

〈（子宋王喜隱）〉 (Son: Prince of Song Xiyin)

穆宗時，其子喜隱謀反，辭逮李胡，囚之，死獄中，年五十，葬玉峰山西谷。 Under Muzong his son Xiyin rebelled; testimony implicated Li Hu, who was imprisoned and died in jail at fifty, and was buried in the western valley of Mount Yufeng.

二子：宋王喜隱、衛王宛。 He had two sons: Prince of Song Xiyin and Prince of Wei Wan.

喜隱，字完德，雄偉善騎射，封趙王。 Xiyin, whose style was Wande, was imposing and skilled in mounted archery and was enfeoffed as Prince of Zhao.

及改元保寧，乃宥之，妻以皇后之姊，復爵，王宋。 When the era was changed to Baoning he was pardoned, married to the empress's elder sister, restored to rank, and enfeoffed as Prince of Song.

喜隱輕僄無恒，小得志即驕。 Xiyin was frivolous and unreliable; the least success made him arrogant.

宋降卒二百餘人欲劫立喜隱，以城堅不得入，立其子留禮壽，上京留守除室擒之。 More than two hundred surrendered Song soldiers tried to seize the city and install Xiyin; failing to enter because the walls were strong, they installed his son Liulishou instead; Upper Capital regent Chushi captured him.

留禮壽伏誅，賜喜隱死。 Liulishou was put to death, and Xiyin was sentenced to death.
