夫自太祖之世，剌葛、安端首倡禍亂，太祖既不之誅，又復用之，固為有君人之量，然惟太祖之才足以駕馭，庶乎其可也。 From Taizu's reign Cige and Anduan were the first to stir rebellion; Taizu neither executed them outright nor cast them off permanently, which showed true magnanimity as a ruler—yet only Taizu's ability could keep them in hand, and even that was barely enough.

時制度未講，國用未充，扈從未備，而諸弟剌葛等往往覬非望。 Institutions were not yet ordered, revenue was not yet ample, and the imperial escort was not yet complete, while his younger brothers Cige and others often cast covetous eyes on the throne.

頃之，剌葛等作亂，潰而北走。 Before long Cige and others rebelled, were routed, and fled north.

至榆河，敗其黨，獲剌葛以獻。 At the Yu River he defeated their faction and captured Cige to present him.

剌葛之亂也，淳欽皇后軍黑山，阻險自固。 During Cige's rebellion, Empress Chunqin encamped at Black Mountain and held the defensible ground to secure herself.

剌葛既北走，與敵魯追擒於榆河。 After Cige fled north, Aguzhi and Dilu pursued and captured him at the Yu River.

剌葛之亂也，欲乘我不備為掩襲計，紿降。 During Cige's rebellion, the rebels planned a surprise attack while our guard was down and feigned surrender.

及平剌葛等亂，以功遷奚叠剌部夷離堇。 When the rebellion of Cige and others was pacified, for his merit he was transferred to yilijin of the Xi-Yila tribe.

及自將伐西南諸部，轄底誘剌葛等亂，不從者殺之。 When the emperor led troops in person against the southwestern tribes, Xiadǐ incited Cige and others to revolt and killed those who refused to join.

車駕還至赤水城，轄底懼，與剌葛俱北走，至榆河，為追兵所獲。 When the imperial procession returned to Chishui City, Xiadǐ took fright and fled north with Cige; at the Yu River they were overtaken and captured.

後從剌葛亂，與其父轄底俱縊殺之。 Later he joined Cige's rebellion and was strangled along with his father Xiadǐ.
