漢王欲西歸,張良、陳平諫曰:「今漢有天下太半,而諸侯皆附,楚兵罷食盡,此天亡之時,不因其幾而遂取之,所謂養虎自遺患也。」 The King of Han wanted to return west. Zhang Liang and Chen Ping advised him: "Han now possesses more than half the realm, and all the feudal lords have attached themselves to it. Chu's troops are exhausted and its food is gone. This is the moment when Heaven is destroying Chu. If we do not seize this opportunity and take it, that is what is called raising a tiger and leaving disaster for oneself."
